Divine lines

Care for the commons, contempt for common man
Bedraggled busy and dizzied by common plan
Cracked beads, and moors, cracked morals and whip
Exerting Alexander in need of fodder for the ship

Dancing dreamer to and fro, mind the tides high and lo’
Shake stick and face east, on westerly winds breathe the beast
Drag crooked line through sands divine, encircle, ensnare, entice
For chance burns enteral to minds infernal; king and common alike
