El Cambio

hot on the coattails of unity
a duster don'd ghost
palms burning with puddled poems
ever hungry for a host

soon a convert marches
faith across his brow
trading tomorrow's dream
for totality in the now

here's a story of man
impatient for the win
ever externally seeking
the one found only within
